So it's official...we are having a baby!!! Needless to say we are both very excited and ready for this new addition to our family. This will make grand baby #2 on Pete's side of the family and #12 on mine. Both Grandmas were thrilled at the news. I am excited that we will have kids that will be similar ages to their cousins.
The baby is due the first week of July, and has done plenty to make me aware of his/her presence. Anything that has even a slight smell or a good taste makes me extremely nauseous. But I suppose I did not expect anything different!
We got to have our first Dr.'s appointment yesterday. We got to see the little white blur that is our baby on the ultrasound screen, and hear his/her heartbeat. It was incredible and made it all extremely real. What an awesome experience!!!!
